**Update: we found 'Golder Flowers' on this batch. I'll still offer samples for anyone who specifically requests it, but in efforts of transparency, we don't want anyone to be surprised by their purchase.
 
These bamboo tubes were made in Yiwu with a blend of 2005 huangpian from a variety of Yiwu villages.
 
The aroma has a comforting aged Puer aroma full of Yiwu complexity.  The soup is thick and sweet with a full mouthfeel.  Pretty much no bitterness or astringincy in the leaves.  The cha qi is full and comes quickly with calming but energizing at the same time.
 
Huangpian can be aged like any other Puer and will develop even deeper notes as it continues to age.
 
Note: We recommend longer steeps and more leaf than normal.  If you don't have gongfu style brewing equipment, huangpian is ideal for pot brewing.
 
Due to high compression and age, the leaves are difficult to break off from the main block.  Samples will very likely contain more broken leaves than standard cake samples.
