Gaoshan teas are known for their strong honey orchid aroma and well-rounded sweetness.  The oldest trees in the Gaoshan gardens emphasize these attributes with a full-bodied liquor that coats the mouth and throat, leaving a long-lasting sweet perfumed aftertaste. 
 
The 2023 production was particularly dry in the Gaoshan region and this shows in the leaf which was very slow growth and low in production.  The result is a cake that will show its strength and depth throughout the years as it matures.
